Skiing and tobogganing by night:

The days are just too short to satisfy your adrenalin, and the winter nights are so spectacularly beautiful: That’s when the night lights of Obereggen flood the pistes, the snow park and the toboggan run, shining the way for winter sports fans!

Two times a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, the Obereggen slope is bathed in light from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. to guide indefatigable winter sports enthusiasts on their way. Skiers can race down a 1.8-kilometre-long piste illuminated by 340 KW of power, turning night into day, then make their way back up again with the “Ochsenweide” 8-seater gondola lift. The same fun is on offer in Deutschnofen, where the village lift is open from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. An extra special feature for groups is the option of an evening’s skiing on Fridays and Saturdays when, on demand, night becomes day!

Evening access to the ski lifts is included in the price for all night owls who purchase multi-day, weekly or season ski passes.

Tobogganing under the stars

Moonlight tobogganing is not just limited to full moon nights: the 2.5-kilometre-long sledge run at Obereggen is perfectly groomed for night-time, and is floodlit every Tuesday and Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. to boot! Head up to the heights on the “Ochsenweide” gondola lift and whizz down on a one-person or two-person sledge.

Freestyling by night in the Nightpark

No matter whether you’re a beginner or a pro, there’s no such thing as too much fun! And there doesn’t have to be: learn your tricks by day, and hone them on the jib line by night. The Nightpark on the Obereggen piste is an incredible 1,780 metres long. Day or night, (the) obstacles are there to be overcome!
