The night is young, the skies a deep blue, the world is hushed. There’s only one place where the lights are shining – here in Obereggen, where shouts of delight resound through the air. Moonlight tobogganing is a popular pastime!
What could be cooler than tobogganing down the Latemar massif? Of course: tobogganing down the Latemar massif at night! When night falls over the Latemar, in the World Heritage Site of the Dolomites, it brings a hushed silence to the land – well, nearly all the land: here at the toboggan run, jubilant cheers break the nocturnal peace of the Dolomites. The toboggan run in the Obereggen ski resort is floodlit two times a week, when it stays open until 10 pm for adrenalin seekers of all ages to enjoy. Just take the Ochsenweide cable car up to the Epircher-Laner Alm and whizz your way down the 2.5 km run, a drop of 280 metres all the way back to Obereggen. An absolute highLIGHT for winter fans!
