Get moving to great views from the pistes
Snow-muffled woodland, winter-white meadows, dynamic tracks in the snow. When the Latemar and Catinaccio massifs gleam glittering white and all the muscles in your body are hard at work, it can only mean one thing – it's time for cross-country skiing in Nova Ponente and at Lavazé pass!
Nova Ponente and Lavazé pass
100 kilometres of great cross-country ski trails guarantee novice skiers and super-fit types, classic cross-country skiers and brisk skaters snow-covered trails on short sprint runs and long routes requiring lots of stamina.
At Lavazé pass, set at 1,800 metres above sea level, the trails run across the plateaus of the Dolomites into the heart of Italy's cross-country skiing mecca, the Val di Fiemme. Yet, the circuit routes are already groomed to perfection from Nova Ponente, too. They start at the sports centre at 1,350 metres above sea level, at Hotel Pfösl, at Pension Unterkaplun and Wölflhof.
