The days are just too short for your need to get out and move and the nights are beautiful. The night lights of Obereggen flood the pistes, the Snowpark, toboggan run and illuminate the way for indefatigable winter sports fans.
Three times a week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, Obereggen's piste radiates light from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. for the untiring. Skiers can head down a 1.6-kilometre-long piste as bright as day thanks to 340 KW of power and back up again with 'Ochsenweide' 8-person gondola lift.
The same fun may be had at Nova Ponente, where the village lift is open from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. An extra special feature for groups is the option of an evening’s skiing on Fridays and Saturdays too – night becomes day on demand!
Use of the lifts in the evening is included in the price for night skiers holding multiple day, week or season ski passes.
Moonlight tobogganing is not just possible when there’s a full moon! That's because the 2.5-kilometre-long sledge run at Obereggen is particularly well prepared. This is illuminated very Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. as well! Head up with 'Ochsenweide' gondola lift and whizz down on a one-person or two-person sledge. You'll find more information here.
Neither beginners nor experts can get enough! No problem. During the day you can learn to do tricks and practise them on the Jibline in the evening. The Nightpark along Obereggen piste is a whole 1,780 metres long. By day and by night: the obstacles are there to be overcome!
